Second we discuss an interesting article, I Stumbled in the Steps of the Good Samaritan by Eric McLaughlin. “When we picture ourselves as heroes, we often forget our humanity.” Caring for others and sacrificing like the Good Samaritan is often tiring, sometimes gutwrenching, and rarely the euphoric feeling too often depicted in our Christian and hero-worshipping secular culture.
